Khalije style izar is an oversized, tube-style waist cloth. To afford modesty, an Izar is worn over street clothing during salat , while at the Masjid or at any time the wearer wishes to remain modest. To wear an izar simply grasp two ends of the tube at the waist, pull the two ends of the garment comfortably tight and tie the ends into a large knot. One size fits all.
